Can I try a Minecraft server for free?+

Yes, and you don't need a card. Try the Budget 4 GB plan free for 48 hours. Your server is set up straight away and nothing is ever charged automatically. It pauses when the trial ends; pay the first invoice to keep it with your data intact. If you do not keep it, the server and its data are removed after a further seven days. One free trial per account across VPS and Minecraft.

Can Java and Bedrock players share a world?+

Cross-play can be configured using Geyser and Floodgate with a compatible Java server. Plugin and mod compatibility varies. Contact us with your requirements before ordering a cross-play server.

How fast is my server set up?+

We set servers up by hand shortly after payment clears, then email you the address and details. Contact us before ordering if you need a specific setup date.

How much memory do I need?+

Check the requirements for your Minecraft version and server software first. Modpacks often publish a recommended memory allocation. Plugins, loaded chunks and view distance also affect usage. Send us your setup if you need help choosing.

Should I choose Budget or Performance?+

Budget uses DDR4 memory and SSD storage and is the lower-cost option for smaller survival servers. Performance uses Ryzen 7 7700X processors, DDR5 memory and NVMe storage, and is the better choice for demanding modpacks, plugins and active worlds. If you’re unsure, send us your software, modpack and expected player count.

Can I bring my existing world?+

You can upload a compatible world over SFTP. Check the edition, version and any required mods before moving it, and keep a backup. Moving between Java and Bedrock requires conversion and may not preserve all world data.

Can I upgrade or cancel?+

You can upgrade to a larger plan in the same range from your client area and pay the difference for the rest of your billing period. Contact us if you want to move between Budget and Performance. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your service remains active until the end of its paid period.

Where will my server be hosted?+

Minecraft servers may be hosted in the UK or EU, depending on placement. Ask us to confirm the location for your plan before ordering if you need a specific country.

Java or Bedrock?+

Choose the edition your players use. Java supports Java mods and plugins. Bedrock supports mobile devices and Minecraft for Windows. Consoles can restrict connections to custom server addresses; check with us before ordering for console players.
