How to Set Up a Web Store for Your Server Using Tebex

Overview

Tebex (formerly Buycraft) is the industry-standard platform for managing donations and selling digital goods on your Minecraft server. By linking your server to a Tebex store, you can automate rank assignments, crate keys, and other perks directly to your players' accounts upon purchase.

Setting Up Your Tebex Store

1. Create an Account: Visit the Tebex website and sign up for a creator account.
2. Configure Your Server: Within the Tebex dashboard, create a new server and select your platform (e.g., Paper, Spigot, or Forge).
3. Get Your Secret Key: Tebex will provide a unique secret key. This is required to link your server to their platform.

Connecting to Your AwakeNode Server

On AwakeNode

AwakeNode servers are pre-configured to handle plugin installations seamlessly.

1. Navigate to your server's Plugin Installer in the panel.
2. Search for the "Tebex" plugin and click Install.
3. Once installed, restart your server.
4. Use the File Manager to navigate to plugins/Tebex/config.yml and paste your secret key into the secret field.
5. Restart the server again to finalise the connection.

On Other Hosts / Manually

1. Download the Tebex plugin directly from the SpigotMC or Tebex website.
2. Access your server via SFTP and upload the .jar file to your /plugins directory.
3. Restart your server to generate the configuration files.
4. Locate the config.yml file within the plugins/Tebex folder.
5. Edit the file to include your secret key, save the changes, and restart the server to establish the link.

Managing Your Store

Once the connection is established, you can manage your packages, categories, and payment gateways directly through the Tebex web dashboard. Any changes made to your store configuration will sync with your server automatically. If your store fails to sync, ensure your server is online and that the secret key in your configuration file matches the one provided in your Tebex dashboard.
