Cobblemon is a comprehensive Pokémon mod for Minecraft that brings a fully realised creature-catching experience to the game. It integrates seamlessly with existing worlds, adding new mobs, adventure elements, and world generation features to your server.

This mod is available for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge, with support for Minecraft versions 1.19.2, 1.20.1, and 1.21.1.

Installing Cobblemon

On AwakeNode

  1. Navigate to your server in the panel and select the Mod Installer.
  2. Search for 'Cobblemon' and select your desired loader (Fabric, Forge, or NeoForge).
  3. Click 'Install' and restart your server.

On other hosts / manually

  1. Download the correct version of Cobblemon from Modrinth for your loader and Minecraft version.
  2. Connect to your server via SFTP.
  3. Upload the .jar file into your server's mods folder.
  4. Ensure your server is running the matching loader version and restart the instance.

Common issues

  • Version Mismatch: Ensure the mod version exactly matches your server's Minecraft version (1.19.2, 1.20.1, or 1.21.1). Using the wrong version will cause the server to crash on startup.
  • Missing Dependencies: Some versions of Cobblemon may require specific library mods. Always check the mod page on Modrinth for required dependencies.
  • Loader Conflict: Ensure you are not attempting to run a Fabric-specific version on a Forge server, or vice-versa.

Performance

Cobblemon adds a significant number of entities and world generation features, which increases the load on your server's CPU and RAM. We recommend allocating at least 4GB of RAM for a smooth experience with a small player base. If you experience lag or TPS drops, consider upgrading your plan; on AwakeNode, your startup flags and memory limits will automatically adjust to the new plan without manual configuration. If you are on another host, ensure your startup command includes sufficient -Xmx memory arguments.

Supported versions: 1.19.2, 1.20.1, 1.21.1
