Create is a Minecraft mod that provides a variety of tools and blocks for building, decoration, and automated contraptions. It focuses on aesthetic technology, allowing players to create complex mechanical systems that integrate seamlessly into the game world.

Whether you are looking to automate resource gathering or build intricate moving structures, Create offers a versatile suite of utility and technology components to empower your gameplay.

Installing Create

On AwakeNode

  1. Navigate to your server in the AwakeNode Panel and stop the server.
  2. Use the Mod Installer to search for 'Create' and select your preferred loader (Forge or NeoForge).
  3. Ensure your server version matches one of the supported releases: 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.20.1, or 1.21.1.
  4. Click install and start your server.

On other hosts / manually

  1. Download the Create mod file from Modrinth for your specific Minecraft version and loader (Forge or NeoForge).
  2. Connect to your server via SFTP and upload the .jar file to the 'mods' folder.
  3. Ensure your server is running the matching Forge or NeoForge version.
  4. Restart your server to load the mod.

Common issues

  • Version Mismatch: Ensure your server's Forge or NeoForge version is compatible with the specific Minecraft version of the Create mod you downloaded.
  • Missing Dependencies: Create may require additional library mods to function; check the Modrinth page to ensure all dependencies are present in your 'mods' folder.
  • Startup Crashes: If the server fails to start, check the 'logs/latest.log' file in the File Manager to identify missing dependencies or conflicting mods.

Performance

Create can be resource-intensive due to the complexity of its mechanical contraptions and moving entities. We recommend at least 6GB of RAM for a smooth experience with multiple players. If you experience lag, consider reducing the number of active automated machines in a single chunk. If you require more resources, you can upgrade your plan at any time; AwakeNode will automatically adjust your memory allocation without requiring manual configuration. For other hosts, ensure your startup command -Xmx flag is set appropriately for your modpack size.

Supported versions: 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.20.1, 1.21.1
