- Use the Mod Installer to search for 'Terralith'.
- Select your preferred loader (Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, or Quilt) and click install.
- Restart your server to apply the changes.
On other hosts / manually
- Download the correct version of Terralith from Modrinth for your loader and Minecraft version (1.18.2 through 1.20.5).

modsfolder. - If using the datapack version, place the file in the

Common issues
- World Generation Lag: Generating new terrain is CPU intensive. If you experience lag, pre-generate your world using a tool like Chunky.
- Version Mismatch: Ensure the Terralith version matches your server's Minecraft version exactly (e.g., 1.20.4 vs 1.20.1).
- Mod Conflicts: Terralith modifies world generation. It may conflict with other mods that significantly alter terrain or biomes.
Performance
Terralith is highly optimized as it uses vanilla blocks, but the complex terrain generation can increase CPU load during initial exploration. If your server struggles with TPS drops while players are loading new chunks, consider upgrading your plan for more processing power. AwakeNode automatically scales your RAM (Xmx) based on your plan, so no manual startup flag configuration is required. If you are on another host and require specific JVM tuning for world generation, please contact your support team, as startup flags are typically restricted.
