YUNG's Better End Island

YUNG's Better End Island is a world generation mod that completely overhauls the main End Island where the Ender Dragon fight takes place. It transforms the barren island into a more detailed and engaging arena, perfect for servers looking to enhance their endgame experience.

This mod is available for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge, and supports Minecraft versions 1.18.2 through 1.21.4.

Installing YUNG's Better End Island

On AwakeNode

1. Log in to your server panel and navigate to the Mod Installer.
2. Search for "YUNG's Better End Island" and select your preferred loader (Fabric, Forge, or NeoForge).
3. Click Install. The panel will automatically download the correct version for your server.

On other hosts / manually

1. Download the correct version of the mod from Modrinth for your loader and Minecraft version.
2. Connect to your server via SFTP.
3. Upload the .jar file to the mods folder in your server's root directory.
4. Restart your server to apply the changes.

Common issues

• Mod Mismatch: Ensure the version of the mod matches your server's Minecraft version exactly. Using a 1.20.1 mod on a 1.21.1 server will cause a crash.
• Missing Dependencies: Many YUNG's mods require "YUNG's API" to function. Check the mod page on Modrinth to see if an API dependency is required for your specific version.
• World Generation Conflicts: If you use other End-altering mods, they may conflict with the terrain generation. Always test in a backup world first.

Performance

YUNG's Better End Island adds more structures and blocks to the End dimension, which can slightly increase memory usage during initial chunk generation. If you notice lag when players travel to the End, ensure your server has sufficient RAM allocated. If you are on an AwakeNode plan and experience performance drops, consider upgrading your plan; your Xmx values will update automatically. For other hosts, ensure your startup command includes sufficient -Xmx memory allocation.
