YUNG's Better Witch Huts

YUNG's Better Witch Huts is a world generation mod that replaces the standard, underwhelming witch huts with overhauled, detailed structures. It adds variety and atmosphere to swamp biomes, making exploration more rewarding.

This mod is available for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge, supporting Minecraft versions 1.19.2 through 1.21.4.

Installing YUNG's Better Witch Huts

On AwakeNode

1. Navigate to your server in the panel and open the Mod Installer.
2. Select your preferred loader (Fabric, Forge, or NeoForge) and ensure your server version matches the mod version.
3. Search for "YUNG's Better Witch Huts" and click Install.
4. Restart your server.

On other hosts / manually

1. Download the correct version of the mod from Modrinth for your specific loader and Minecraft version.
2. Use the File Manager or an SFTP client to upload the .jar file to your server's /mods directory.
3. Ensure you have the required dependencies installed if specified by the mod author.
4. Restart your server to apply the changes.

Common issues

• Version Mismatch: Ensure the mod version exactly matches your server's Minecraft version (e.g., 1.21.1). Using the wrong version will cause the server to crash on startup.
• Missing Dependencies: Some YUNG's mods require "YUNG's API". Check the mod page on Modrinth to see if an API is required for your version.
• Loader Conflict: You cannot run Forge mods on a Fabric server or vice versa. Use the Version Changer in the AwakeNode panel to switch your server type if necessary.

Performance

As a world generation mod, YUNG's Better Witch Huts may slightly increase CPU usage when generating new chunks. If you notice lag during exploration, ensure your server has sufficient RAM allocated. If you are on an AwakeNode plan and require more resources, you can upgrade your plan at any time; the Xmx startup flags will update automatically. For other hosts, you may need to manually adjust the -Xmx flag in your startup command, or contact your provider for assistance.
